“No lather from the bars very disappointed”

Hi Gillian, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I am sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the overall 'lather' of the Tvatta Shower Gel Bars. The Tvatta Shower gel bars, do not foam like regular shower gel as they are soap-free. The surfactant in the product is derived from coconut and cleans just as well however the bars do not create large bubbles but are more of a creamy layer that cleans and moisturises the skin at the same time. “Very dissatisfied with the purchase of the Shower Gel Bar Set. It does not lather up at all even after soaking it the bath it is still rock hard & useless.”

“I love Gruum products usually, but was recently given the opportunity to try these shower gel and sadly was really disappointed. They looked great in the packaging and the fragrance of each was lovely. However, when I used them in the shower, they just didn’t lather up at all. I have had this problem with two of them and suspect that the other two will be the same.”

“I appreciate the goal of making products that are nicer to the environment, some of the scents are really nice. However the bar is too dry and hard and so it's really hard to make a lather and doesn't spread easily.”

“I hate to write this because I really like so many of gruum’s products, but these are really not worth the money. They do not lather up at all. Not at all. Now that might be because we live in Derbyshire, so the water might be too hard. But they are not a pleasant product to use. They just sort of slide over your skin without doing anything. Again, this is atypical of all the other gruum products I have used. Sorry”
