The Tvatta Shower gel bars, do not foam like regular shower gel as they are soap-free. The surfactant in the product is derived from coconut and cleans just as well however the bars do not create large bubbles but are more of a creamy layer that cleans and moisturises the skin at the same time. “Felt like scrubbing with a lump of smooth plaster. I tried in London first so put it down to hard water, but even in the softest water I could fine, no lather and barely any smell, even when I scraped the top layer off with my fingernails. Really disappointed!”

“The packaging and marketing was very good, elevating expectations so I was looking forward to trying the products. Unfortunately, the soap doesn't lather at all and has virtually no fragrance - rather like washing with a piece of plastic. I'm sure it is ethically produced but it needs a bit more product development in my view.”
