“Myself and partner have tried two of the bars and have been unable to achieve any type of lather from either. There is no smell and have had to resort to our own shower gels each time we have attempted to use the bars. Very disappointed.”

The Tvatta Shower gel bars are soap-free and do not foam like regular shower gel. The surfactant in the product is derived from coconut and cleans just as well however the bars do not create large bubbles but are more of a creamy layer that cleans and moisturises the skin at the same time. “What a useless product and even worse is the fact that they keep following up with requests for a review despite my telling Grüum why I was not posting one. The bars included instructions on how to get a lather from them yet this was impossible. When I complained they said the product did not produce a lather with other excuses. Bars were seriously underweight. I really don’t know how you can go wrong with a shower gel bar but Grüum have excelled themselves in doing so.”

“The bar lost its smell after a few showers but to be honest the bar barely lathered at all. Pretty disappointed as I was looking forward to new scents from my usual imperial leather. I gave up using these Gruum bars pretty quick and went back to the bars I can actually wash with”

“I have used the summer shower gel bar and was really pleased with the scent. Unfortunately I did not like the fact that it didn't lather despite following the instructions on the box. Perhaps a more bubbly bar could be produced?”

“I liked the set of soaps and cleansers I was sent. I am yet to use some of them but I would say that people who haven't used Gruum products before will be pleasently surprised. Some of the soaps create more soap on the skin itself than others so that is a challenge and it may be that people will need a slightly different mind set when using them compared to more well known brands. You don't need to create a lot os soap suds necessarily for a soap to be effective. It maybe a hard sell for some people but I also wonder whether its better environmentally. Obviously to soaps are only quite small so you need to put some thought into using them. Good quality.”
