“It smells really good and I love the concept of a solid body butter but I just found it too solid. Unless my skin is really really warm, like when I've had a sauna, I feel like I just don't get the body butter effect. It's too solid but it smells wonderful”

We're sorry to hear that the texture hasn't quite worked for you. As our body butter is designed to be rich and long-lasting, it does need a bit of warmth to melt into the skin especially in cooler environments. One little tip is to warm the bar slightly between your hands before use, which can help it glide on more smoothly. “I used this on holiday and it is lovely, I didn’t need much and was so easy to use, the warmth from your skin helps it to melt and it just glides onto your skin and moisturises really well especially after a day in the sun, really liked this one.”

The Body Butter is a moisturiser rather than a shower bar and if you follow the 'How to use' instructions from our website then hopefully you will achieve a better result and enjoy using the product: 1. Take the bar in your hand and gently glide it along the skin (one or two passes should do it). 2. The warm skin and motion will naturally melt the bar just enough to leave the perfect amount behind on the skin. 3. Massage in with your hands. 4. Revel in your silky soft skin.
