“I was hesitant about using a bar of soap (gruum) to wash my hair. But so glad I gave Gruum a try, my hair has never been better. I use the shampoo bar and also a conditioner bar. Not only are they great but also they are light and compact when travelling and on top of that no plastic is involved. Win win!”

“A lovely newish firm on the scene. Had never used a soap shampoo before theirs, and love it ….enough to give to my daughters also. Son has a beard kit and is impressed. Only the postage, not their fault, puts me off using it more often. Good stuff!”

“On my plastic reduction journey. Bought the shampoo which made my hair sqeeky clean and the conditioner made my hair so soft. Not really given any volume that I can tell. But I love them both and will buy again.”

“Love this shampoo! I first used a solid shampoo years ago, and didn't like the way it felt, so decided it wasn't for me. Over the years I've become more conscious of waste, so decided to try again. So glad I did! The whole family used it, and although my eldest wasn't keen on the smell (she now uses the shine boost one), the rest of us loved it. I didn't really notice a volumising effect on any of our hair (mine is fine, but lots of it, and it's a 2A wavy structure, husband has fine, straight thinning hair and youngest daughter has hair the same as mine but she has even more of it, so it seems thick, even though each hair is fine). Both husband and daughter have seborrheic dermatitis, and this cleared up after using this shampoo, probably due to the lack of SLS. Only gripe is that I wish the bars were bigger as it didn't last long with all of us using it.”
