“I've been using the Gruum shampoos and conditioners for about five months now and I still can't believe how brilliant they are! I wanted to try them out to cut down on the amount of plastic I used but really didn't have high expectations for the product (every other bar shampoo I've tried has left my hair oily and very heavy) but right from the first wash, it's completely improved my hair's condition and always leaves it clean and light. I have quite dry hair and Gruum has completely revived it - it's now no longer dry and broken at the ends (even with the lack of haircuts in lockdown!), and my hair feels and looks cleaner for longer, which means I only wash it a couple of times a week as opposed to every other day. So not only is it great as I've been able to cut down on plastics, but I've found something that really works for my hair. I've recommended this to all of my friends and family and will continue to repurchase. Thanks so much! x”

“I've been trying the coconut shampoo bar as I want to stop buying plastic bottles of shampoo/conditioner. I'm seriously impressed. Last year I tried a different brand and it stripped my hair - felt awful. The Gruum bar is gorgeous - lathers really well and quickly (I have long curly hair) and I can barely see that I've used any of the bar yet, so I believe them when they say it'll last a long time. I've just bought another shampoo and a conditioner bar and one for a friend. "Away with you, dreadful plastic bottles!"”

“I have tried many shampoo bars and all have either left my hair course and squeaky or frizzy. Then I found this one! I use the brightening bar and even though I bought a conditioner as well I rarely need to use it. I can also go longer between washes which is great!”

“Excellent service and high quality product. Sceptical about shampoo bars but ordered one and very impressed with the lathering and cleansing capabilities. Have just ordered a conditioner on the basis of my experience. Have also recommended to friends. Great and simple cardboard packaging which is I can recycle. Well done all”

“I've tried a lot of shampoo bars and they never seem to work as well as normal shampoo or to lather properly in our hard water. Gruum bars are the first ones I tried that work just as well as normal shampoo. The products smell lovely and come in smart, environmentally friendly packaging. I'm really impressed and have since gone back to try some of their other products.”

“I tried the products because of the lack of plastic packaging and natural ingredients; to be honest, with very dry, curly hair and friends who had tried shampoo bars and not rated them, I did not expect to be impressed, but the shampoo bar is extraordinary - you only need a tiny bit to have a head covered in rich, creamy suds. The conditioner bar is not quite as impressive and you have to used quite a bit more, but does leave hair nice and soft after leaving it on for a few minutes. Delivery took too long, but I am sure this will improve with time.”
