“I am totally hooked on Gruum shampoo soaps. My husband and I have now tried two - the lemony one and the cocoa-y one - and they are both brilliant. I purposely kept count to within a wash or two of how many uses one bar gave me, and reached over 75. Admittedly I have short hair, but the lather those little bars produce is amazing! I intend never again to buy shampoo in a plastic bottle.”

“Shampoo bar has made my hair manageable without conditioner. That is a first! The web site is a bit frustrating. I found it very time consuming. I wanted to order products to be delivered at regular intervals but gave up the quest after 30 mins and just did a one off order. Maybe when I purchase again I will have better look in the website minefield.”

“So far I have only tried the shampoo bar and I was amazed at how much lather I got from my shampoo bar and at how squeaky clean my hair felt. I have since ordered a conditioning bar and daily exfoliating face wash and I can't wait to try them.”

“I ordered the shampoo bar on promotion back in lockdown. Have never looked back. Also now using the conditioner bar and have a lovely soap dish too. Creamy lather, lovely scent and easily rinsed plus all environmental too. Can't rate highly enough”

“I really didn’t think I’d get on with a shampoo bar but on the back of other great reviews, I ordered a coconut one and I’m totally converted! Easily lathers into a light foam and my hair is a dream to blow dry and feels so soft and light! No mean feat when your hair’s normally like straw. My only tiny gripe is that after rinsing, for some reason, my hair is always tangled and difficult to comb through, but a small price to pay for the amazing result.”

“Ah a British product. Well done. Received my first product, a shampoo bar, a couple of weeks ago. Absolutely loved it but for some reason, this has now left home and is happily living with my daughter and granddaughter! Have re-ordered just for me. Also ordered wonky soaps which I will give to friends and spread the word. I know most of them are ardent recyclers and plastic ignorers.”

“The shampoo bar is fantastic. Have now made a repeat order and trying the conditioner too. Totally happy with the ethics behind this company and its products. My only grumble is the ordering online process is a bit unwieldy and there does not seem to be a telephone order option.”
