“The sceptic in me was expecting a bar to perhaps tangle my waist length hair. I circled this over my wet hair and the lather was almost instant. You really don't need much. It was very smooth as I washed it through my hair, and no tangles ! Even once my hair was dry, it felt very smooth and silky. I'm interested to see how long thus lasts in comparison t my bottled product.....but is something I would definitely recommend.”

“These have been the best shampoo & conditioner bars I have ever tried. Went through a few different ones and they all either left a residue on your hair, didn't clean it properly or felt that it didn't condition. this one ticks every box. I am a hairdresser and used to use only salon quality products but wanted to go waste free, this is the answer! Such good quality, nourishing for the hair, bargain price on subscription and lasts for about 2-3 months with both me and my husband shampooing and conditioning every 2 days.”

“Absolutely love gruum bar shampoos and conditioners! I discovered them during the lockdown when looking for an alternative to my plastic free local shops that were closed. I found that other shampoo/conditioner bars end up leaving hard to rinse goo in my hair and and after a while leave my hair feeling and looking flat &listless, gruum bars not only lather in and rinse out really well, they also subtly add volume and highlight my natural colour. Imagine my disappointment in the lockdown -finally having a red carpet ready mane with nowhere to go ;) The customer service and resolution of queries is also great.5⭐️”

“I recently recieved this coconut shampoo as part of a deal. I have already changed to shampoo bars but wanted to give this a go. I wasn't disappointed! My hair is silky soft using this, even without conditioner, which is a bonus. Good for value, as only one bar to buy. My hair hasn't felt this good in a long time! Thank you!”

“This was my first experience of using a shampoo bar, and I must say on initial use I'm quite impressed. Rubbing it into my scalp with having quite a mass of longish wavy hair did mean that the hair got a bit tangly, but it wasn't that difficult to manage. The bar lathered up very well, and rinsed easily. I was wary of the coconut scent, as I generally find coconut toiletries far too strongly scented, and I'm not a fan of the smell. However this shampoo was not overpowering at all, in fact rather pleasant. Left my hair feeling clean, fresh, and healthy. In fact I didn't need to wash my hair again for a few days after using this.”

“I started using both the nourishing shampoo and conditioner bar a couple of months ago and I love them. Was initially sceptical as read online that other shampoo bars can make you hair feel greasy at first, but had no problems like that with these products. My hair is the softest it’s been in a while and the smell is lovely. Originally bought these as an alternative to the big bottles whilst travelling in Asia, but 100% will continue using at home now.”
