“Care is required when close to the dog's body as I accidentally sliced a little bit of skin off a dogs tail whilst trying to cut through an area of matted hair. The dog didn't make a noise but I suddenly saw dogs of blood on the grooming table. I obviously need to take more care myself when using it but I mistakenly thought it was a safe tool - only when used at right angles to the dog's body, it can't be used sideways on to slice through matts as the blade is too close to the body.”
