“I looked online for opinions on dog clippers prior to purchase & the Andis AGC single speed seemed to be good for home use. I have only used it once so far but it was low noise which is good. Blades are easy to change. The blades do get hot after a while (as I gather all do) but I had also purchased some cooling blade spray. The clipper feels quite heavy but I have no comparables so think it is a case of just getting used to it. Having clippers means I can keep my dog looking good (& cool) all the time rather than taking him to be clipped every 3 months. The clippers will have paid for themselves in less than a year.”
