He did get a blister in his right foot but this was because he was born with club foot so all footwear rub him whatever precautions I take. “This is my 5th different boot from Grisport, the best of which is the Crusader, but this runs it a close second at a lower price point. The boot is midweight but gives solid support with a thick belows tongue (not leather) anchoring the boot firmly above the ankle. The highlight however is the triple layer sole unit which really absorbs the shocks when walking on pavements/rough surfaces, providing a very comfortable experience overall. The Dakar leather is nice and thick and so far in a cold wet January this boot has prooved warm and waterproof.”
