I like Grisport shoes generally but the Eskdale is certainly the best shoe I've had from them for a while. It is the closest they've come to the old Sword model they used to do (which I loved), although slightly lighter. The shoe has a luxurious feel, is very well made (as always) and extremely comfortable from the get go. It is stylish, yet robust and definitely waterproof. Hope they keep making this one for years to come as I will definitely buy it again.

Is the product true to size?
the eskdale walking shoes are very comfortable and lightweight ( 470gr/shoe) for use on outdoor trails and for every day use such as dog walking.

Is the product true to size?
I haven't used the boots very much yet but the first impressions are that they are excellent, much better than expected. They are rock solid, well built and more water proof that anything else I had before. I find the price for this product very reasonable, especially considering from past experience that cheaper products have never achieved their purpose. I would buy these boots again (Note that the sizes are larger than with most other manufacturers - I had to choose one size smaller than normal to fit me)
