“Have had Grisport Boots before, Really comfortable and they look good. Right boot however has caused rubbing on ankle and big toe. Ankle sorted but big toe still a problem.”
“Very impressed. Bought for walking the dog and occasional treks. Comfortable from the first wear, grip is excellent and feet stay dry through wet grass and wet boggy land. They look great too which is a bonus.”
“My previous two pairs of Grisport boots (Timber) gave good life and performance and I would not buy another make. I like that these seem slightly narrower and lighter than the Timber but I do not like the sharp and narrow lace fittings which make if difficult to take the boot on and off and even more difficult to fasten securely. With only one pair of locking lace clips if you overtighten the bow to try and compensate for the loose laces it draws the cuff in so that it rubs. Perhaps this will get better with use but i suspect the laces will also wear quickly.”
“Doesn’t live up to first impressions! Sturdy enough and well made but the shortened side panels and the oversized padded tongue create a problem. The reduction in leather means that the boots stability relies on the tongue and the laces and no matter how tight the laces are pulled the tongue remains spongy. Consequently the boot is loose on the ankle and the heel of your foot lifts from the inner sole with every step. Not a boot I’d like to wear for all day walking.”
“So far so good. Really comfortable and relatively light. Integrated tongue is great. Correct length laces for a change. Not tested how waterproof but very confident about them.”
