“First thing to say is I am not a walker or hiker. I bought these boots to help support my ankle after breaking it at Xmas and having to wear a very heavy surgical boot.
These are smart looking boots without being too heavy which is essential as I am still recovering from my injury.
My main problem is that my feet are different sizes and while the left boot fits perfectly without any wearing in the right one ( the injured one ) was a little bit tight around the toes but fitted well everywhere else and supports my ankle well.. I could have gone up a size to accommodate the bigger right foot but then the left boot would have been too big so I managed to gently stretch the right boot and so far (after a walk down our local seafront today) , I am happy to say there is no sign of rubbing or blistering on either foot.
I am looking forward to trying out the boots when I go to Lewis and Harris in May as I am told that parts of the islands can be a bit rugged and hard on the feet.”

“I bought boots advertised as being waterproof and the recommended spray . I sprayed the waterproofing before wearing them to ensure they were waterproof. However when walking through dewy grass my feet became wet. I have contacted your customer service and quickly received a response saying I could return them. But no reply to my subsequent reply asking the address to return them to. As I had wanted to keep the boots I disposed of the packaging soon after delivery and so no longer had the return details.
I am very disappointed as a previous pair of boots I bought years ago were very good.”
