They are comfortable straight out the box excellent quality not too heavy and have never leaked or rubbed or let us down in any way, and the girls really put them to the test.

“Lovely new hiking boots for my 7 year old. This is his 2nd pair of Grisport boots. He walked over 350 miles last year in those (Lands End, Cornwall to Kington on Offa's Dyke in Wales) and they're good to walk more, except his feet have grown.
