“I can't give these boots 5 stars because they were not comfortable straight from the box. This is how Grisport advertises them. They rub the bottom of my toes, so much so that it caused bruising. If I put my hand inside the boots there is a very hard ridge that goes along the width of the boot right where my toes are. I have had to put newspaper inside when I finish walking my dog to try and stretch the leather somewhat. It's getting better but still hurting a little. I got these for Christmas so i have been wearing them everyday for 4 weeks. On the plus side they are quite light and nice looking boots.”
“These are great looking boots and feel really quality. I've only worn them on one hike so far, but they were really comfy from the get go. Slightly slippy on coastal rocks, but that may be because they're brand new.”
“As others have said... these boots are out of the box comfortable and remind me of my first ever pair of leather walking boots... this time with no blisters. I wanted these because of walking a lot on Dartmoor and some places can be steep and stones can be slippy. I am delighted with them and with the service from Grisport. I'm so glad I found them and will be enthusiastically recommending them to others.”
“Fantastic boots, comfortable straight out of the box! I got my normal shoe size and they are perfect, I can wear normal socks or thick socks and I haven't experienced any rubbing anywhere. I've worn them every day for the last 2 months for at least 1-2 hours walking with the dog through some really muddy and wet conditions and so far they have kept my feet dry. Really happy and would highly recommend.”
“These boots are totally unfit for purpose due to the tread not being appropriate or effective for hill walking terrains. I am very unhappy with this purchase. They are not safe to be worn in the environments they were supposedly designed for and why I had chosen them.”
