Nice colours and pattern and double-walled. 100% acrylic and made in China, but feels soft. In an attempt to be more environmentally conscious in my choices, I read that every time you wash a polyester garment it releases microfibres into our waterways causing immense damage to marine life and the ecosystem :/ , so out of choice I have been trying to buy wool garments, Tencel or Ortex cotton. Saying that I realise any manufacturing process has its negative impact on the environment, so a complex problem. It is nice to be given something free and it does feel as if it will be a warm hat. I think I would have rather had some of your boot waterproofer, so I can keep the lovely leather boots I bought from you, in tip-top condition, and hope the plastic bottle it comes in is recyclable?
