“Great value for money. My size 44 was true to size and fits me really well. Comfortable and waterproof as well as a good level of breathability. I wear them daily walking the dog on rocky cliff paths and through woods and so far very happy with my purchase. The Leather is of a good quality and thickness, and the Sympatex membrane ensures they are waterproof.
The sole is excellent and grips well when climbing or descending a slope as well as being nice and firm over rocks and tree roots etc.
I am now seriously considering a pair of the Grisport high ankle boots for the winter such as the Keeper or Ranger for really waterlogged and deep mud usage . I have been buying Meindl boots until now which are great Boots however Grisport can be half the price of my Meindl Boots and do the job I need them to do, so to summarise :

“I've left it until I made my first hike in these. They did not disappoint. On a 14 mile hike through water, boggy fields, copious amounts of mud. They still kept my feet dry. No blisters, no hot spots. And if ya wondering I'm a size 10 and I bought a size 10. Any other size bigger they would have been too big. Solid boot, sturdy, excellent grip and didn't clog up with mud. Not really a summer boot, so these will be coming out winter only. Buying a another pair to alternate every other week. Best £100 I've spent on boots ever. And they'll only get better with time, like a fine wine.. thanks grisport..”
