“For the last 10 years, I’ve worn the GRISport Timber boot, which has always been superbly comfortable. Unfortunately, GRISport no longer offers this boot in size 40, so I purchased the Lady Glide hiking boot as an alternative.
I’ve just returned from a trip to the Lake District, and sadly, these boots were horrendous. Although I ordered my usual size 40, the Lady Glide was slightly longer than the Timber in the same size. This left a small gap at the heel, which caused rubbing and eventually blisters.
Even worse, the footbed wasn’t nearly as cushioned as the Timber’s. I could feel every sharp stone underfoot, making hikes uncomfortable and tiring.
I’m really disappointed. Please bring back the ladies' Timber boot—it’s a far superior hiking boot in every way.”
