“This is the third pair of Grisport Peaklander boots I've bought over the years. I walk a lot and my old boots lasted me quite a while (laces replaced once). Good ankle support and I like that the boots are a bit wider than most, so very little to no wearing in required. I really wanted a brown pair but there was none in stock at the time of ordering, so got the black ones. Grisport are a great company, good communication and quick dispatch.”
“So far so good in my Peaklander black boots. The wide fit is perfect for my feet. They feel sturdy and well protective on the ankles. I haven't walked over any rocky terrain or hills, only up and down the coast during the summer. Good grip on the bottom and the only thing I am watching closely at the minute is the area the bottom sole that is attached to the leather upper has on either side where the balls of my feet press down and widen, have small gaps along the outer edges starting to appear but it's not right along the boot, just those two spots. Still nothing has leaked in so far. It's been blazing sun, so not much rain to test the waterproof yet.”
