If you are finding that the cream is not providing enough moisture to your skin It may be due to exfoliation, how often do you exfoliate? It is essential that the nutrients and active ingredients in your moisturiser can penetrate deeper to the living cells of the skin. This becomes increasingly important as we age and blood circulation slows down, meaning less oxygen is delivered to skin cells leading to a reduced rate of cell renewal. Those in their 20’s/30s should exfoliate once a week, those in their 40s should exfoliate twice a week, and those in their 50s should exfoliate 3 times a week.
