“I have mature, dehydrated skin and this made it feel uncomfortably tight - I would say that it's more suited to younger or oily skin. If a richer version of this was ever produced, I'd certainly be interested to try it.”

Just to reassure you, our retinal is actually formulated to be gentle enough for everyday use from the start, even on sensitive skin! We've cushioned it with Hyaluronic Acid, Aloe Vera and five organic plant oils at 0.05% concentration – the perfect amount to be effective without irritation. So if you're finding it comfortable mixed with your moisturiser, you could actually use it directly if you wanted to. Your routine with Vitamin C in the morning sounds brilliant though. We're excited for you to see continued results!

“I used this for a week but unfortunately it didn't really work for me. It was very thick and took a while to sink into my skin, although I followed the patting method recommended on the video. Also it did have a slightly odd scent, not unpleasant but noticeable.”

The cream is rich and nourishing, which some people love but others find too thick for their skin type. The patting method does help, but if your skin prefers something lighter, our Scent Free Light Moisturiser might be a better match. Regarding the scent – even though it's fragrance-free, natural ingredients do have their own subtle smell. I still get some spots and redness but they are drastically reduced since I started using this cream along with the anti redness serum.
