We are sorry to hear you have reacted to our Scent Free Anti-Ageing 24-Hour Cream. Every individual is unique in their chemical and biological make-up, it is therefore impossible to create skin care products that are suitable for absolutely everybody. We select our product ingredients with great care, to minimize the potential for allergic reactions and sensitivities. Even natural ingredients can cause reactions and some people can be just as sensitive to them as to synthetic chemical ingredients.

We would be unable to pin-point exactly the ingredient you are reacting to without an allergy test. It might be worth consulting your doctor to see if tests can be carried out to see if there is a general allergy.
We did make a small change to this product in 2019. However, the only change was to the preservative system – we replaced the blend of Sorbic acid, Salicylic acid and Benzyl alcohol in a base of Glycerin to a combination of Gluconolactone and Sodium benzoate.
We have not changed any of the other ingredients in this product, and it should be exactly the same in terms of performance. Likewise the viscosity should not be any different. It is therefore likely that you are reacting to the new preservative system.
