“I wanted a sunscreen with UVA and B protection that is environmentally friendly and cruelty free and that works. Full marks on that score! I applied it every morning of my holiday (around 20 degrees C, but at altitude so more UV) and, as usual, forgot to reapply,...but no sunburn :-) Also, I have mild eczema, which was not aggravated by this sunscreen. Really happy with the effectiveness of this product, I just don't like the texture on application. It seems creamy at first and then changes into a watery sort of texture that is quite hard to rub in (and can leave a white residue on clothes if you don't leave it long enough before dressing).”

“I have a great deal of problems in the sun suffering with itchy rashes so I was excited to be using a product which claims to solve this. Unfortunately I didn't work as I still suffered. Also i found the cream very thick to use and although it is supposed to be fragrance free it smelt like ripe brie-very unpleasant. All in all a disappointment.”

We advise speaking with your GP about PLE, or Polymorphic Light Eruption, this is a condition that often appears like Prickly Heat but is in fact an allergy to UV exposure which our sun lotions cannot completely protect against. “We bought this for my hubby who has developed really sensitive skin. We have used a different product previously; however it was no longer available. This sun cream was a bit thick and took some effort to rub in properly. We had 2 weeks in Tenerife and happy to report no sunburn - even when out and about all day.”

“I've used this sun lotion for years. I have sensitive, very fair skin and this lotion really suits me, I wouldn't use anything else. It completely stops me burning and my skin never has an adverse reaction to it, even on my face. It can stain clothes a bit and also takes a bit of rubbing in compared with more chemical sunscreens but it's well worth it”

“I always use this suncream and although I have fair skin and enjoy sunbathing I never burn. It does not have an overpowering scent and a tube lasts along time.”
