“I don’t think my skin liked this cream, I used it for the first time abroad and have the worst rash I’ve ever had on various parts of my body. I even had little blisters on my wrists. I loved the smell of the cream though.”

Skin sensitivities can vary greatly, and unfortunately, even natural and organic ingredients can occasionally cause reactions for some individuals.

“cannot fault the performance of the SPF 30 Sun cream so far as sun protection. Our skin did not break out in any way and, although it’s slightly thicker than most sun creams, it absorbs well into your skin without too much rubbing. I developed a nice tan and did not burn once. However, it has destroyed our lighter coloured swimming costumes. Despite soaking and using online tips to get it out, I cannot remove the yellow staining (which was annoying but, with perseverance, was removed last summer) and this has put me off of using again unless maybe using an old/dark costume .”

We’re so pleased to hear that the SPF30 Sun Cream kept your skin well-protected and comfortable in the sun. We’re very sorry, however, to learn about the staining on your swimwear. Unfortunately, this can sometimes happen with sun creams as they contain naturally protective ingredients that may transfer onto lighter fabrics.
We understand how frustrating this must be and will share your experience with our product development team. In the meantime, we recommend applying your sun cream well in advance of dressing/swimming and pairing with darker swimwear where possible to minimise the risk of staining.
