“I like the green credentials of the spf 30 face (and the body) sunscreen but unfortunately both pill very badly (on all family members). The body sunscreen discolours fabric a yellow colour. Sadly I wouldn’t buy again, not particularly pleased as an expensive purchase”

Pilling can happen when you are rubbing in skin-care products, but they sit on the skin, and they never quite soak in. As you rub it in, the product is pilling, or collecting on top of the skin. The product is being hindered from absorbing into the skin as there is an occlusive barrier that’s preventing absorption, and it happens if too many products are used at the same time, or in the wrong order.
We would recommend exfoliating 2–3 times a week, which helps to remove dead skin cells which can form a blockade that keeps products from being absorbed. It may also help if you tap in the product rather than rubbing it in. We also advise using the Sun Cream on its own, with no other products underneath or on top.
In some instances the filters we use can stain some fabrics yellow. This staining is irreversible and, for this reason, we recommend that users take care when wearing white/ light fabrics over their sun cream and always allow the sun cream to soak into the skin before applying clothing.

“I bought this cream for daily use during the summer time, not just when on holiday. I love the fact that is not oily and it is very easy to apply, no white marks whatsoever! 4 stars only because I would prefer it to be scented, otherwise can only recommend it!”

“Positives: long lasting, spreads easily, great for sensitive skin and is quite light once absorbed.
Neg: quite thick and takes a few min to absorb (you get used to that. Most suncreams do), but the bottle is the main drag. Like all GP lotions, this is in a thick plastic bottle, and as it’s not clear, you can’t tell how much waste there is and I’m sure I’m losing at least some of product all the time.
Overall: great product, packaging needs to be changed in order to ensure nothing is wasted”

“I have rosacea and this does not make my skin red at all!! It dries in well, isn’t greasy, and smells fairly okay. I cannot recommend this highly enough. I know a review this positive sounds fake, but I promise I have a bottle of this suncream in my drawer. Love putting it on- feel like I’m really caring for my skin. Buy it! :)”
