“I decided to make the switch to this toothpaste after months of struggling with extremely dry skin around the mouth and lip area. The doctors were not useful at all and did not even suggest that toothpaste could be the problem, but after researching myself i found out about all the harsh chemicals in toothpastes and decided to switch. When searching for a reasonably priced natural toothpaste i came across this. This toothpaste leaves my teeth feeling clean and has a mild nice minty taste to it, although if you have been using normal toothpaste it may take a while to get used to it as the taste is a lot more mild. The toothpaste also has a different texture wherein it is not foamy and a bit watery so may also take a while to get used to also . After a while of brushing there is virtually no taste in my mouth from it, yet it still feels fresh and clean which is good. My only concern is that since it does not have fluoride my teeth may not be protected as much as they should be from plaque, however I have not had any problems with my teeth yet after using this for about 2 years, and when i spoke to my dentist he said that it is fine to use this toothpaste and may be good to occasionally use a mouthwash with fluoride for the protection. Overall i would highly recommend this for anyone who is looking for a natural, cruelty free toothpaste, and if you have mysterious lip burning and overly dry lips, its possible normal toothpaste is causing it due to all the harsh chemicals like sodium lauryl sulphate, so this may be the solution for you, as it was for me.”
