“I have used this product for some time now and would not use anything else. I love the fact that it doesn't have any harmful chemicals. It has a very subtle rosemary aroma, dries quickly and does its job effectively and gently. Would definitely recommend.”

“They claim to be Aluminium free where are they use Pottassiu Alum which contains Aluminium. Such a shame for deceiving the masses.”

We do not claim that our deodorants are aluminium-free. Instead, we claim that they are free from pore-clogging aluminium. The problem with most aluminium salts used in deodorants and anti-perspirants is that their molecular structure is quite small – Aluminium chloride and Aluminium chlorohydrate are two examples. These work as anti-perspirants by entering sweat ducts where they react with amino acids and peptides to for a gel which plugs the sweat duct and prevents sweating. Both of these molecules are small enough to be absorbed through the surface of the skin and may enter the blood stream. The aluminium in the Ammonium alum and Potassium alum that we use is bonded into a much larger molecule – one that is physically too large to be absorbed through the skin. The largest molecule that can penetrate the skin has a molecular mass of less than 500 Daltons – and both of the molecules that we use weigh over 600 Daltons. Instead of blocking pores and preventing sweating, these molecules interfere with the reproduction of the bacteria responsible for causing B.O.

“I have tried several other 'natural' products only to find out they were not. But I am pleased with this deodorant, it is natural, lightly scented, a good consistency i.e not too watery, and above all keeps me dry. Definitely buy again!”

“After trying numerous deodorants without aluminium in them this is the best one I have tried, I have been using it for over a year now, I need to reapply in the summer months but never had a problem with it, all natural and not tested on animals, perfect.”

“Nice smelling product and glides in and dries easily. I have a very physical job and this only kept me fresh for a couple of hours. Fine on days when I am sedentary but no use for those who sweat.”
