“I absolutely love my greenhouse but I do not like that it had many gaps. I feel your fitters should be able to seal with sealant to make it water tight as I had rain pouring in my greenhouse and had to seal it myself.”

Regarding your comment about sealing the greenhouse, we wanted to clarify why we don’t recommend fully sealing any greenhouse structure. A greenhouse needs controlled airflow to function properly — without ventilation, heat and humidity can build up to levels that damage plants, encourage mould, and put stress on the frame itself. Sealing panels airtight can also trap moisture inside the glazing channels, which leads to condensation, algae growth, and long‑term deterioration. Manufacturers design their greenhouses with intentional micro‑gaps and ventilation points so the structure can “breathe” while still protecting plants from the elements. Sealing these areas often causes more problems than it solves. If you’d like, we’re more than happy to look at your specific setup and advise on the best way to improve insulation or weather‑proofing without compromising the greenhouse’s performance.
