Halls Atrium Grey Hexagonal Greenhouse. The 12ft 3" wide Halls Atrium Grey Hexagonal Greenhouse is NEW for 2018 and features a culmination of both style and function into one building. The Halls Hexagonal Atrium will give you more than enough growing space to bring on seedlings as well as grow salad, herbs and vegetables all year round. The great thing about a 12ft wide greenhouse is the working space inside that means a couple of you can be toiling away potting up or plants without bumping into each other. The extra width also means that you can use the greenhouse more like a conservatory. The Grey Atrium has 3mm Full Length Toughened Glass side panels which will let light flood onto your plants and a 6mm Twin Wall Polycarbonate roof which both acts as insulation to retain the heat in the colder months but also will difuse the sunlight in the Summer to stop plants getting scorched. + 12ft 3" (3754mm) Wide Aluminium Greenhouse. + 3mm Full Length Toughened Safety Glass to the Sides. + 6mm Twin Wall Polycarbonate in the Roof. + Anthracite Grey Powder Coated Frame. + No Clips Glazing Capping System. + 3 Side Vents. + Double Sliding Doors. + Base Plinth Included. + 10 Year Warranty (Frame and Base). + HALLS ACCESSORIES - ADD BELOW. I am very pleased with the structure, shape and glazing. It is attractive as a style and looks like a quality piece of engineering, eg the stainless steel bolts. I am thinking the polycarbonate roof panels may deteriorate and fill with moss or algae (as many of the channels have filled with water after a few weeks). That remains to be seen. The door handle is a little stiff and I can't see whether this is due to design or assembly. I recommend a professional assembler given the time it took and the complexity of the job.

There are several points to mention. 1. You need two people to erect the greenhouse. 2. The instruction in parts are confusing and need rewriting. 3. There needs to be clear markings on the roof cone for fitting the stays. 4. The opening vents are difficult to fit together and the screw are to short. 5. Customer services are really helpful.

Both my wife and myself were impressed with the build quality and put the greenhouse together over a week. I did struggle a little with parts of the guide and feel some parts could have been made clearer. Some of the diagrams could be made "more 3D", so you can see which parts attach to which and more importantly which way round. The roof was the hardest part to put together as the parts snap into the frame and is quite hard to do. All in all we are very pleased with it - we now have a hub-tub in it! If you are a confident DIYer I'd say get one and put it together yourself, otherwise you might want to think about asking the the Halls people to do it.
