6x4 Grow Master Greenhouse. The Grow Master 6x4 Greenhouse is the ultimate polycarbonate greenhouse for the family garden or allotment. The Grow Master 6ft x 4ft uses a revolutionary new glazing system that dispenses with fiddly and unreliable glazing clips once and for all. The glazing slides neatly into channels within the aluminium frame and is kept in place by solid aluminium, not little flimsy clips . Polycarbonate glazing is ultimately the SAFEST glazing for families and environments where children are present as it's virtually unbreakable. However, if you live in a very windy environment where the greenhouse is constantly exposed to high winds then we generally recommend a greenhouse with toughened safety glass. + 6ft 4" (1930mm) Wide Greenhouse - Width across gable end. + New Glazing Channel System - No more fiddly glazing clips + Anodised Aluminum Frame - No rust or discolourisation. + Galvanised Steel Base - For rigidity and strength. + Base Corner Posts - You can place this greenhouse on any surface. + 4mm Twin Wall Polycarbonate Glazing - Safety and heat retention. + 1 Opening Roof Vent - Allowing hot air to escape. + Extra Steel Bracing - For strength in roof and corners. + 10 Year Warranty - For aluminium frame and steel base. Really pleased with my greenhouse, even though it took me and my husband over 2 days to complete digging out the holes for the base posts and erecting the greenhouse. We have had quite strong winds over the weekend and the greenhouse has withstood the wind and rain no leaks. My husband has used clear silicone in places for extra support from any adverse weather. My only moan is that the instructions could be a bit clearer as it gives other models but once we had sorted it out no problem. I also bought 2 two tier staging which was much easier to erect and fits on each side of the green house. As you can see from pics below I have been busy sowing seeds. Highly recommended if you are thinking of getting a beginners greenhouse or haven't got a large garden.

Base (optional): reasonably strong. Greenhouse is secured to it with metal clips and bolts. Essential - raises greenhouse for those extra inches and strengthens. Frame: well thought out design, detailed instructions, but thin aluminium and therefore quite flimsy. Windows (polycarbonate): fairly strong (unless bent with the grain of the structure), very poor fittings - relies on small (3cm) plastic clips top (1) and bottom (1), and a long strip of plastic to one edge, with gaps and so generally a poor fit - returned today from shopping to find one large pane merrily flapping in the breeze having popped out of groove. Opening Window: a poor fit, with gaps and flimsy plastic clips (2) for window catch. Overall: obviously budget end, frame ok for money, but grossly let down by design of window fittings. Unless sighted somewhere extremely sheltered, will not last long in average UK weather. Otherwise I would consider paying more for a stronger design. Also, no door catch and so door cannot be secured in any particular position.

The greenhouse is fairly easy to build, although the instructions would be better if the writing, was in the same place as the diagrams and not at opposite ends of the manual. The metal base gives it a really nice finish and height. I couldn't get the door panels to fit however I tried but with a tube of clear silicon, the door panels are now locked in tight.

The greenhouse was excellent and the customer care was really helpful and very obliging the only real downside of the whole package was the delivery firm they couldn’t give an am or pm delivery time and you couldn’t track the parcel then when it did arrive the courier was really unhelpful and took off leaving all the heavy parcels dumped so I had no chance of moving them I had to stand at the gate and ask a gentleman to come and help me move them to where they couldn’t be seen from the road Never had this before from any other courier

A superb greenhouse once erected. However the instructions need to be much more explicit and the diagrams larger. I'm sure that if it had not been for the exceptional help of your technical assistant we would still be attempting to erect it. Sadly I cannot find the name of the assistant who gave us all the help but I'm sure he would remember the surname Horgan because of the number of calls that were made to him,

Purchased a 6x4 greenhouse from Green House stores. Product arrived on time and well packaged. Sides, Front, back, roof sections and door all wrapped separately with component parts numbered. Familiarise yourself with ALL sections and refer to the drawings (which, at times, are a little obscure). Ensure your base is laid square. Following order of construction lay all the component parts out on the ground and bolt together and assemble in order Fairly straight forward construction but it will require two of you and allow yourself a day. I was unsure of the polycarbonate sheeting and some of the retaining strips were difficult to snap into place but overall they seem to work well. Once bolted together the greenhouse appears very stable and quite strong. We have had a few high winds since the greenhouse went up and it has stood up well to them although the greenhouse IS protected on two sides by a brick wall. All in all, and for the price, I am happy with my purchase. Winter may change that opinion, we will see.

The greenhouse was relatively simple to erect, but needed quite a lot of effort with a 10mm socket spanner. Fitting the sealing strips was very hard work and advice that the structure should be kept as loose as possible before fitting the strips would help. That said the greenhouse is the right size and looks good.
