Elite Thyme 8x6 Dwarf Wall Greenhouse Toughened Glazing. The Thyme Dwarf Wall 8x6 Greenhouse benefits from a sturdy high quality aluminium frame with bracing and strengthening on every other bar throughout. The double sliding doors have an integral door catch to keep the door shut in high winds or open when you need more ventilation. New features for 2013 include a door handle and a proper key lock for security. It features the Elite Low Threshold Base giving a safe and practical entry for you and all of your gardening bits and bobs. The Elite Thyme has 12" wide glass panels that give a lovely traditional look but add enormous strength to the greenhouse. This is because there are more glazing bars in the sides and roof with a cantilever support on every other bar in the eaves and roof for added strength. Elite toughened safety glass gives you peace of mind where children and pets are present and safety is top of the list. Toughened glass simply granulates if broken removing any danger of injury from shards of glass. This Elite Dwarf Wall Greenhouse 8 x 6 has 1 opening roof vent and 2 louvre vents for ventilation, a double sliding door with key lock and integral gutters to collect rain water.

“Excellent greenhouse. The design is good and I am very pleased with the finished result. I had some difficulty following the written instructions but understand that the manuals have to cover many different build options so some interpretation is needed. I would suggest that more photographs of the different options are added when the documentation is updated: these are easier to follow that the written instructions. I added grease to all the threaded fasteners and added washers (not included with the kit but inexpensive to buy) under all the nuts and I recommend these additions as the aluminium nuts and bolts are prone to seizing if mishandled: I snapped a couple of bolts through careless assembly. I found the clips quite challenging to fit as several pinged off like supercharged stainless-steel grasshoppers into my neighbour’s wilderness never to be seen again! However, the kit included sufficient spares and I found the clips easier to fit if the glass was carefully positioned to give a edge gap of 1-3 mm which allows the clips to seat properly. I ordered staging but found that the supporting struts are not really suited to the dwarf wall design (modification required to accommodate the dwarf wall thickness). Fortunately, I was able to return the staging and instead cut down a sheet of 8 x 4 plywood which fitted very neatly over the top of the dwarf wall.”
