Vitavia 8x6 Green Venus 5000 Greenhouse Toughened Glass. An 8x6 green aluminium greenhouse with full-length toughened glass, useful bracing and a 12-year frame warranty.. Installer's note: Build the Venus on a flat, square base measuring at least 1930mm x 2570mm. Small base errors make full-length glass and sliding doors much harder to align. The Vitavia Venus 5000 is an 8x6 greenhouse with a green powder-coated frame. Its 3mm toughened panes run the full height of each glazed section. This gives cleaner sightlines than overlapping horticultural-glass panes. Toughened glass is the sensible choice beside paths, play areas or busy family gardens. “The greenhouse is well made and the directions worked well. It is worth checking every part for amounts as we were short of 2 angle brackets that made the base impossible to construct and therefore the rest of it until spares were sent. It took 2 of us a day to put together and though fiddly at times wasn't difficult, a third person was needed to hold the frame up whilst bolting one section to another. The finished greenhouse is sturdy, windproof and is coping well with the weather Cornwall throws at it. We're looking forward to actually growing veg in it.”
