The first delivery only had a very few alive ladybirds - 6 out of 25. A second delivery (sent free of charge) contained living ladybirds.

A good fast delivery. Now living happily in my garden, eating aphids and growing bigger and bigger. I hope they stay!

The larvae were really very tiny. Far, far smaller than the aphids I was hoping they'd deal with, and they so far haven't. My young lupins are looking sicker and I've tried lots of other methods to get rid of the aphids. It's a shame the larvae didn't work, and I wonder if they were just too young and small. However, they were very well packed and looked safe inside their container, with lots of finely shredded paper, I suppose, to cushion them from motion in transit. None of them looked dead to me, which is great. Just a bit too flea-sized to deal with my problem, sadly.

I bought a special offer of 75 ladybird larvae for the price of 50. There was about 10 in the box. Rip off.

I would not normally give a negative review, but as you have asked, I am disappointed. On arrival there only appeared to be less than 10 larvae alive but I followed your instructions and put all the contents into the paper bags provided, including the shredded paper and black bits and hung them on the plant. Over the next few days, I eagerly inspected the plant several times a day, I only ever saw 4 lavae actually on the plant. It has now been 5 weeks and currently, I have no larvae, no pupae, no ladybirds but still have the blackfly! Disappointed!

I released these larvae onto a very large plant that was infested with white fly; I’d not seen any ladybirds in my garden this year. As I watched the larvae grow, I realised that they were Harlequin larvae. This was confirmed by Green Gardener after I sent them photos, but they repeatedly assured me they had not sent Harlequin larvae. Since there were no other larvae in my garden and these larvae were exactly where I released the larvae received from them, I find it inconceivable thst theirs could have disappeared completely, only to be replaced by a similar number of Harlequin larvae in the same place. They hatched into beautiful ladybirds, undoubtedly Harlequins, and did a fine job of ridding my plant of white fly but I’d specifically wanted a native species so have been disappointed.

I was amazed at how quickly the Larvae got to work, my runner beans had a very bad infestation of black fly, within two weeks of the Larvae getting to work not a trace of black fly remained. I have told all my fellow gardeners and I hope they will be using the Larvae. THank you

I didn’t seem to receive 50 live Larvae in my package (I think many had died) and unfortunately they didn’t do the trick with the blackfly on my beans.
