Ran away! Applied them to roses and cherry tree. Partial success on the roses, but the larvae all took off on the wrong direction on the cherry tree. I observed them crawling down the branches away from the black fly on the leaves, the following day there was no sign of the larvae at all. Maybe I was doing it wrong.

Nothing happened. We did exactly as instructed but there never was a lacewing ever that appeared in the garden. Still battling with aphids

I've been buying lacewing larvae for the last couple of years to deal with the aphids in my polytunnel. They arrived safely and get to work straight away plus they don't fly off! I'd highly recommend them and greener gardener. I have a lacewing shelter to help them over winter also from greener gardener.

Sneaky whitefly found my secret stash of tasty young plants. Fortunately I was able to call in nature’s army who soon had the situation under control. Lacewing Larvae from Green Gardener. So, what eats lacewings? In my greenhouse, a pair of wrens who pop in every day looking for baby food, some young frogs who are sorting out the woodlice too and a toad who noticed the ants under a potted plant I hadn’t moved for a long time. Good stuff happens when you let Mother Nature help!
