“My decade old standard trailing fuchsia became badly infected with gall mites last summer (2021). I applied the biological control, but as I didn’t identify the cause of the misshapen growth until late in the season, the control had little impact. The fuchsia was left protected, but outside all winter because I couldn’t put it in the greenhouse with uninflected plants. To my amazement it survived, though all the ‘head’ was dead. The head was cut back to the stem and began to sprout new growth. I immediately ordered 5 sachets of control mites. About three weeks later I ordered 5 more. At present, June 9th, there is some misshapen growth. Time will tell if the control mites can overcome the infecting mites. Things look reasonable so far, considering the severe infection last year. I’ll be ordering 5 more sachets in about a month. I live in hope that I can save my beloved standard fuchsia! Without the control mites it would have been cremated. Unfortunately there is no place here to leave a photo of my plant.”

“Thanks for the excellent service, at the moment it seems to be working on some of the fuchsia plants but we had a bad infestation last year and think we will need to purchase more at a later date our current sachets still have another 2 weeks to go so perhaps we will get the pesky mites.”

“Found Green Gardeners details on the RHS website and it recommended these sachets that they sell. So far so good and having removed the damaged growth the new growth seems very healthy. Thanks”
