We are very pleased with the results of using nematodes on our 150 metres of Box hedging. It was being attacked by (white moth ) caterpillars & was badly damaged. After 3 sprays , over 2 x weeks , the box hedging has started to regrow and fill in the bald patches. Would recommend this excellent product.

The application process is complicated to say the least. The temperature needs to be above 12 degrees by which time the caterpillars are rampant! It needs to be a dull day, not raining but the box needs to be wet before application. A foliar spray can is required. I obviously missed some of these conditions because after 3 applications I found 3 caterpillars which may have been killed by the nematodes. The rest are alive and well and chomping the box. I've resorted to picking them off by hand!

My miniature box trees were in danger of being totally devastated by box tree caterpillars this year I was in despair until I found these nematodes on the Green Gardener website. I have diligently applied these as advised throughout this summer and they have saved my treasured plants. Although there has been some devastation of foliage prior to the treatment there has been no further damage inflicted since I started with this product. I also have used the foliage feed from Green Gardener and my plants are now showing new growth and beginning to return to their previous beauty. I have just treated all to a final session of nematodes ain view of the recent mild weather.

They were easy to use and instructions very clear. Fingers crossed we have stopped the moth and caterpillars. I’m considering getting the moth trap as well.

These are brilliant, saved my Kale from invasion of caterpillars, just a shame they are so expensive , could do with a smaller size for the smaller tasks .
