Great feedback! We do send some facts a few days after you receive your map.
Your location in terms of the map is always in the middle looking directly above the stars.
Although the map's orientation is mirrored meaning that you are looking from above the stars rather than under it much like you holding the map in front of you.
This is how traditionally starmaps were made.
