“The Gerber Splice has a useful set of tools and the overall quality is reasonable. When using the scissors, however, the form and length of the handle parts of the tool, mean that they do not fall naturally into my hands (which I would say are of average size). The Splice is still usable though. Upon receiving the Splice, I found it very difficult to open the various tools. After some serious lubrication this has improved, but some of the tools remain stiffer to open than others. Although usable, I must admit that I did expect that Gerber would produce a better tool.”
