“I have no problem buying non-standard laser toner cartridges. In my experience, they are at least as reliable as the printer manufacturers' recommended originals and they are so cheap by comparison, you can afford the odd dud one. That said, in decades, I've never had a dud one. I've only had a dud from a printer manufacturer, which was a painfully expensive experience. That's why I prefer these.”

“I have given this a four rating because it was way cheaper than the price of a new one and 'once installed' it's a more than acceptable alternative, producing printed copies as good as the original product. Why 'once installed' in inverted commas? Because therein lies the rub - the cartridge wasn't as easy to install as the original. In fact it became a little bit like a 'leap of faith', having to force it a bit more than I would have liked, but after several attempts without success, suddenly it slotted into place. Don't let this put you off. It's well worth a try.”
