“I'll admit to taking a gamble on the cartridge, given some of the negative reviews that others had left but given the price gap between this and the original, I thought it was worth a go. I took the precaution of putting the printer on some old newspaper on the kitchen table to change the cartridge because of the problems with leakage others had reported. No such trouble with mine, which was clean. I got a little bit of toner on my fingertips during the process, but it was no worse than I get reading a copy of "Metro". The cartridge was exactly as described and fitted perfectly. I don't print a lot - the original toner lasted 2 years before it needed replaced - but I've run a few test pages and these print perfectly - crisp text, no lines or smudges, and proper black again, not the dark grey I was getting before. The toner low warning has also stopped flashing on the printer. The cartridge was well packaged, in an airbag, inside a cardboard box. Slight panic when it arrived, as the cardboard box was for another toner cartridge, but as said above, contents were 100% correct. Nov 2014 I've updated this review to 5*, my original review comments are below in brackets. After 6 months of use, at the same printing volume as before, results are still good. No fading, smudges or black lines. The print quality is as good as with the OE cartridge and as it's lasted more than 6 months, it's paid for itself. Very happy. (The only thing that has stopped me giving this 5* is that I don't know yet how long it will last. At the rate I usually print, anything more than 6 months will still be a bargain given the price of the OE toner. I'll update the review when I have an idea of toner life but so far, very happy with the toner and the price.)”

“Bought these a few months ago and have only used them when the original carts ran out of ink. The original black was empty but the remaining carts even though having some ink remaining threw up errors so I changed the lot for these compatible ones, following the printers on screen suggestion to ' insert the carts slowly '. The printer accepted them and I printed off a test page and they have printed without any issues. On a side note, I never allow my printers to update, I had problems in the past with printer updates preventing compatibles working. I would by them again no problem.”

“Great value toner which slotted straight into my 2340DW no problem. The printer has no idea it isn't a original part. The black toner is good quality, quite often the unbranded toners aren't quite a s black as the branded ones but this is quite a close match. Had it installed a couple of weeks now and it's still chugging along no problems so it looks like it was a great affordable toner solution.”
