“I bought this from Colour Direct as soon as the red light began to flash for low toner on the original (starter) cartridge. Being economically minded, I continued printing until the print colour became uneven (quite a lot longer). Then I took out and shook the original several times, and got another 50+ pages of decent quality, before finally installing this new one, several months later. I was surprised that it needed no attention (unlike some printers I've had in the past) beyond taking from its packet and dropping into the printer. It works perfectly, with lovely dark tone; and test page confirms 1500 page capacity at 5%. If this is correct it will be less than 1p per page: brilliant value. Even if it doesn't last longer than the starter cartridge, that's still about 2p per page. Far better value than any ink-jet I've owned! Highly recommended.”
