Good simple lightweight machine. It wouldn’t do 40mm branches though. 20mm and below is a good size. Plenty of power, but big branches don’t go through.

Not impressed whatsoever and I have never said that before. Small twigs go though unchipped. Anything larger than 10 mm tries to come back at you which is not funny. Either the shredder I have is not fit for purpose or we have a Friday machine.

Just what the small gardener wants, sturdy, it certainly rips through thick over-grown hedge branches and brambles and is easy to use. It can also be wheeled through the house and stored in the kitchen, if needs be, before trundling it away to the shed.

I was disappointed with the performance of the shredder. Some cuttings passed straight through the shredder untouched while many others were shredded length ways rather than cut into small pieces, so I was left with long lengths of shredding's, not impressed!

Easily assembled. As first used, the machine dealt with fresh pine cuttings (for which I bought it) up to about 4cm with ease. After about 3 days of use, it would only deal with stems up to about 2cm. Blockages were fairly easy to clear, and could be minimised by keeping an eye out for long small stems which tend to get stripped of leaves but remain in the exit chute, from where they can be seen protruding (and be pulled out). Overall, I am happy with his machine and would recommend it for soft materials like pine hedge cuttings.
