“Once built the Storette was fine, but building it was a nightmare. Over the years I must have built hundreds of flat pack items and consider myself pretty capable when it comes to flat pack, however this one is by far the most difficult build I have ever done. The instructions were poor and unclear, holes were not where they were supposed to be and I had drill 8 new ones and it was really fiddly and difficult to build. I did buy two units but can't face building the second one as the first one was so frustrating. Now it is built it is fine, however if I had known how difficult it was I would not have bought it.”

“There is one major problem in that the website product description gives the sizes for width and depth of the box only and fails to give the sizes for the width and depth of the lid which overhangs the box by about 5cm all round so if it was bought to fit into a tight space in plan, like in my case, it will not fit. Features: This product needs a very experienced DIYer (like me) to assemble and the drawings are not fully descriptive. Plenty of nuts and bolts but not nearly enough washers were provided. No mention is made that many of the screws are self-tapping.........3 stars Build quality: 4 stars Value for money: 4 stars”
