The assembly instructions could have been a little more detailed - we had to phone the helpline for clarification but after that everything was fine. I'm delighted with the companion bench and it looks lovely on my decking.

Very happy with the companion seat, looks smart and comfortable to sit on. Fairly easy to construct from flat pack. Unhappy about delivery, seat was left at address many doors away, left outside at an unoccupied house all night and then very heavy to move.

The package arrived in good time, but on opening there was a considerable amount of damage to the contents. The damage consisted of a broken leg and various large scuff marks due to movement of parts within the package. This was probably due to bad packing and poor handling in transit. On request, replacement parts were quickly supplied but required two attempts to get the requested parts. Build process was easy and quite quick. Communications with the supplier was good and results were successful.

but we had a problem with the arm rest fixed to leg it has been broken and glued' the glue however did not hold When my husband was ;lifting that section out of the box the arm raised came up he right way knew that there was a problem The reason you are just being notified now since a month has passed WE were having the outside walls painted had to wait until the work was done. The bench will go beside our house wall facing garden We did not start asking for a replacement armrest/leg as my husband is as brilliant DIY person and has now sanded the area and properly glued the areas I have taken a photo showing the problem I am hoping that you may suggest a discount on my purchase of a fitted water proof covering which we are considering buying before winter If I do not get a reply I shall send an email with the relevant photos of broken area before my husband repaired

The box arrived with pieces broken. It was impossible to say whether they were packed like that or damaged in transit. Photographs were sent to Garden Street and after a short delay the 2 pieces were replaced. The assembly instructions could have been a little more comprehensive but the main concern was the inferior quality of the Allen key type screws. If they were put under pressure for tightening there was a danger that the screw would burr or bend slightly. I would suggest either a better quality item or a couple of spares, That said, when the item was assembled it seems robust and comfortable.
