“It is great and has been much admired. It arrived promptly, was easy to assemble and is sturdy and attractive. Couple of small things: the shelves need a central support if you want to put a lot on them - which there is ample space for - and I had to plane a very small amount off one side of the outer frame where it holds the top openers in order that it fit squarely. Wanted to give it 4.5 as these are minor issues and it compares favourably with similar items for both quality and price.”

“Delivery as stated, in a large slim box. Some screw holes were out of line, so extra holes created. Definitely need two people to put together. Gave it two coats of water proofing beforehand so it'll last longer. Happy to recommend.”

“Most important to prepare a level, flat base. I used two 24” paving slabs. Best erected against a wall or fence, so that it can be screwed back securely to prevent wind damage. I also coated all the woodwork with wood preserver before assembly. The unit it fairly strong and is easy to put together - take your time and don’t rush. The slatted shelving will need a vertical, central support at the front, otherwise it will start to sag in use. As a last precaution, I also ran a bead of clear silicon around every edge of the polycarbonate, on the outside. This will help to protect the wood from water, especially on the top lids. Very pleased with the unit and having done all of the above I hope it will have a long life. Would recommend this ‘semi’ hardwood mini-greenhouse. Much better than a softwood one.”

“Although I thought this seemed a bit pricey when I ordered it, I am pleased to say the quality matches and justifies the price. It is made from a good quality 'hard' wood and is well engineered, so it's easy to construct. Instructions are easy to follow and the pre-drilled holes are all accurate (although the base corner plates are a bit tricky). I put this together by myself in about an hour; it would be easier with two, especially if you're not a great DIYer, but it certainly isn't necessary. A power screwdriver with Allen key head made life much easier. I'm looking forward to plenty of healthy veg.”
