“What could be a very good product marred by cheap construction. Treated timber which will last for ages, but held together by fastenings which will rust away in a few years given that this is intended to stand out in all weathers. It would have cost very little more to use rustproof nails and staples. Do not expect a high standard of joinery. Assembly is not too difficult, but you have to chamfer the upper rail of the hinged lid to get the thing assembled properly. This should have been pre-shaped. Better than the more expensive item it replaced which rotted, but could easily be so much better.”

“While it is a lot more attractive to look at than other bin stores, it is not made to a very high standard - I was expecting a lot more for the substantial amount of money paid. When putting the chest together, I discovered that the main frame that runs through the middle and holds all the parts together was warped, this means that the chest is quite wonky/has large and uneven gaps in places. Not only this, the locks that hold the doors closed are slightly too wide for the frame they sit on, this means the doors catch where the locks overhang. Overall, I'm slightly disappointed with the quality of the product.”

“Very prompt with delivery. Great product, was looking for something to hide my 3 bins and it does the job perfectly. Has a quality look to it. Would say the instructions could have been a bit more precise but it was easy enough to assemble once I got into the swing of it. Time will tell how it holds up but very pleased with it so far.”

“I am very pleased with this chest. It arrived on time packed on a pallet which was unloaded to exactly where I wanted it. It took me about four hours to put together and looks a hundred times better than bare bins. I like the way the lids open the wheelie bin lids as well, saves needing two hands. Excellent product.”
