“Very good solid bench - not a lightweight made of sticks. Nicely put together mostly with dowels and just a few screws in key places. Only issue is the treatment is starting to fail in a few places.”

“A nice looking and solidly made seat, straightforward to assemble. I decided to treat it before use with a good coating of decking oil, partly to improve its appearance, and partly to help it shed the rain in wet weather - something i think is worthwhile with all outdoor furniture to keep it looking attractive.”

“Comes as a flat pack of 6 items which you fit together using the wooden dowels and screws provided. The bench ends are morticed to take the tenons of the seat and back sections. These are fastened using the dowels as pegs. It all went together easily enough. I had roughly sanded the tenons and cleared any debris out of the predrilled peg holes with a round file before starting. The bench comes with a grainy textured finish which probably improves the look. Overall quite pleased with purchase. Will let it weather and then paint with Cuprinol. I paid £220 for mine, not worth more in my opinion. Identical benches are being offered on line by other suppliers at prices exceeding £270. Delivery was within 14 days but no notice was given- it just arrived. Fortunately I was in.”

“Still waiting for the bench to arrive, at the time of ordering they said that the delivery would be 7-14 days, it is now 28 days. They advertise the bench as in stock, after two calls I am still waiting, my patience is starting to run out.”
