“Firstly the good points, size is ideal to cover a couple of chairs or a two seater in our case. Works perfectly and easy to put together. Need to position carefully as the concrete base units (purchased separately) are heavy to move. The umbrella can be rotated however which is an useful feature. This type of umbrella is ideal in calm days, light breeze at best. Physics dictates that it is particularly susceptible to wind, particularly from the side. Two issues, it really needs a cover and at this price should be supplied with one. This is required to protect it from the weather and particularly wind by keeping it more aerodynamic. Bought one for £20 which does the job beautifully. Secondly there is considerable leverage on the base and this is bolted on, would have preferred to see it welded on at this stress point. No issues now and just hoping that this will last for many years. In summary this is a pretty good umbrella, not for use in windy areas and time will tell if it lasts the test of time. But a banana type cover- some decent ones available for little money”
