“I would love to rate the Shire Mimosa Arbour but it hasn’t arrived. It was in stock when ordered a month ago and delivery confirmed. Scheduled delivery was confirmed one day, then cancelled the next. Delivery time and date confirmed for today, then two hours later delivery was cancelled with no explanation. Nobody answers the phone, you are left waiting then cut off. The website now says the item is out of stock. No explanation is given on when the item will be delivered, if at all. Don’t bother with these people, go somewhere where they know how to deal with customers.”

“The concept is fine and NOW looks OK. However, extremely disappointed with the quality of timber used being rough, splinters, generally poor quality, although supposedly pressure treated. Disappointed with exposed nails. Also, very disappointed with the instructions being unclear. I consider myself a competent DIY'er, but anyone of lesser skills should be wary, you may fail to assemble correctly. Would be nice to have pre-drilled holes for easy assembly. A tip for any purchaser is to use coach screws to fix seat support battens, otherwise, don't hold me responsible if it collapses. Having said all the previous and as stated, I am NOW happy with the finished product having sanded, smoothed and removed splinters and nails. Also having filled the holes in the roof within 'Knot Clear'. Not bad though for the price.”

“Very pleased with my arbour once put together. Needed 2 people which took a few hours but worth it. Driver kept me informed all the way he had driven from Norfolk, very pleasant young man.”

“Apart from one piece having come away, just needs a nail and a hammer. The delivery driver was excellent. The only issue that I had was that I ordered it for delivery on a specific day but unfortunately due to problems with manufacturing they couldn't deliver on that day. We were kept informed all the way and the delivery arrived within the week, so not that bad considering the item is handmade and made to order.”
